The Pescadero State Beach is a state park and protected beach area in Pescadero, California. It is located right across the Pescadero Marsh Natural Preserve, making a stop in the area quite fruitful as you?ll be able to visit two attractions in a single go.
Ideal for wildlife viewing, fishing, hiking, and picnicking, the Pescadero State Beach might offer a mile-long shoreline with sandy coves and tide pools, but it is not exactly for swimming. The best thing to do here is to watch out for stellar sea lions and harbor seals. Folks can also catch mollusks and mussels at the site, although, a California State fishing license is necessary to engage in such activities.
The Pescadero State Beach is a day-use park and is only open from 8 am until sunset.
