The Pismo State Beach is a state park and beach area in Pismo Beach, California. It offers a nice sandy beach that runs for about 17 miles longs and goes through the towns of Pismo Beach, Oceano, and Grover Beach.

Pismo State Beach offers a wide range of outdoor activities. Most people go here to surf, while others to swim and fish. Others also enjoy picnicking in the area or take advantage of the campground. Hiking can also be done at the site. Folks can also go wildlife viewing here as a good variety of animal life can be found here including the famous Pismo clam, different bird species, and even a colony of monarch butterflies during the winter months.
