Point Lobos Ranch is a newly acquired state park property located in Carmel, California. It is located in Monterey County, and is owned and maintained by the State of California through the California State Park System.

According to the state parks department, the area is being held for the possibility of it being used as a s state park. Point Lobos Ranch is located near other popular state owned parks and reserves namely the Point Lobos State Reserve, a state natural reserve in the west, and Carmel by the Sea to the north.

An interesting unique native vegetation area is located in Point Lobos Ranch, the world?s largest grove of Pinus radiate or Monterey Pines. The area has also been featured in local and national television programs through the years.
