The Point Sal State Beach is an isolated state beach and recreational area in Guadalupe, California. It is located near and is accessed through the United States Air Force?s Vandenberg Air Force Base and maybe inaccessible or closed due to base activities such as missile launches or base security exercises and operations. The park itself is owned and maintained by the State Parks System. However, its access road namely Brown Road and Point Sal Road is kept and maintained via a joint memorandum of the County of Santa Barbara and Vandenberg Air Force Base.

The park is composed of over 80 acres of natural recreational area with over a mile and a half of ocean shorelines. The park features a diverse ecological system common in coastal sage and other chaparral communities.
