A day-use state recreational area in the San Francisco Bay Area, The Pomponia State Beach is a public beach owned and operated as part of the California State Parks System.

The Pomponio State Beach is located in San Gregorio, California in San Mateo county. It is comprised of miles of sandy beaches with gentle slopes located at the base of several high sandstone bluffs. As a day use beach it has limited hours but suitably enough for a day out in the beach.

Pomponio State Beach connects with two other beaches to the north and south namely the Pescadero State Beach and San Gregorio State Beach. Depending on the tidal levels, it may be possible to travel through to both.
