The Saddleback Butte State Park is a state park and recreation area in Lancaster, California. It features the Saddleback Butte, a 3651 feet granite mountaintop.

Established in 1960 to preserve and protect the growth of Joshua trees in the area, the Saddleback Butte State Park?s main draw is its set up. It offers a desert experience and boasts of an exquisite growth of wildflowers that can be seen in full bloom in the springtime (around February through May).

Visitors of the Saddleback Butte State Park can enjoy picnicking, hiking, camping, and horseback riding around the 2955 acre park. The campground is open 24 hours but is only available on a first come, first served basis. The day use area is open from 9 am until sunset.
