The San Clemente State Beach is a state park and beach in San Clemente, California. It is actually the most popular beach in all of the state of California since the year 1937.

Situated halfway between San Diego and Los Angeles, the San Clemente State Beach is loved for is ?dramatic location? and intense winds. It is also commonly described as ?the OC getaway? as it can be the complete opposite of The OC?s Newport Beach and Laguna Beach with its old-fashioned and easy-going charm.

San Clemente State Beach offers day use and overnight beach camping. It is also enjoyed through swimming, fishing, and picnicking. To get to the beach, though, you?ll need to actually cross a railroad track where Amtrak trains go through every hour.
