The San Onofre State Beach is a state park and beach in Oceanside, California. It offers three thousand acres of area, offering a wide amount of outdoor activities to its visitors.

Welcoming up to 2.5 million visitors yearly, the San Onofre State Beach is one of the five most visited state parks in California. It has three distinct areas: the San Onofre Bluffs, San Onofre Surf Beach, and the San Mateo Campground. The Bluffs are basically for day-use parking and camping. It is named after the adjacent sandstone bluffs. The beach is home to a world renowned and historical surf break. It is only available for day-use, though. The campground is located near the Trestles Beach, which is a world class surfing site.
