The Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park is a state park and historic site in Chatsworth, California. It features a couple of historic features and sites which include trading routes and village sites remains of the Tongva, Tataviam, and Chumash peoples. It is also where folks can find portions of the historic Old Santa Susana State Road which was once the main route for mail and travelers that are going between Los Angeles and the rest of Southern California. It was used from 1861 to 1876, which was when the railroads started to connect the areas.
Established in 1979, the Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park is popular for hiking and horseback riding. It also offers an excellent view of rugged natural landscapes.
