The Shasta State Historic Park is a state park and historic site in Shasta, California. It features the ghost town of Shasta, which was once a mining boom town during the California Gold Rush era.

Established to preserve and present the history of the town, the Shasta State Historic Park features the town center of Shasta. It contains several of the original 1850s era brick buildings or most of their remnants. Some are partially restored, while others are already in ruins. The oldest Masonic lodge in the state can be found here and it is still largely intact. There?s also a museum chronicling the history of the town and providing visitors more information about the area.

The Shasta State Historic Park is open every Fridays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm.
