The Silver Strand State Beach is a state park and beach in Coronado, California. Simply known by the locals and frequenters as The Strand, this park is a part and features the San Diego Bay but also has a section on the Pacific Ocean.

Thanks to its mild climate, the Silver Strand State Beach is considered as one of the finest recreation destinations in the area. The park is frequented for RV camping, surfing, swimming, boating, picnicking, and water-skiing. During the summer, fire rings for cookouts and bonfires are also made available. Also, during the busiest weekends of the year (Memorial and Labor Days), the Silver Strand Beach Café is open.
