The Sinkyone Wilderness State Park is a state park in Whitethorn, California. It is a primitive park, protected and kept as a wilderness area.

Located at the southern boundary of the King Range National Conservation Area, the Sinkyone Wilderness State Park offers 7500 acres of area. It gives off an aura of being untouched by human hands, but actually, the site can be considered as being reclaimed. For the longest time, it has been used for the interest of humans, from being a hunting ground of Indian tribes to a logging spot.

Named after the Sinkyone Native American tribe that once roamed and called the area their home, the Sinkyone Wilderness State Park is a great place for hiking, fishing, camping, picnicking, and horseback riding.
