The Sonoma State Historic Park is a state park and historic area in Sonoma, California. It is located right in the heart of town.
Unlike other state parks in the country, the Sonoma State Historic Park is not exactly a contained area. It is mostly a collection of historic buildings around the Plaza. These buildings played huge roles in the development of the area and have always served as local landmarks. The site is composed of the 1823 Mission San Francisco Solano, the Blue Wing Inn, Toscano Hotel, Sonoma Barracks, La Casa Grande?s servant quarters, and the home of General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo.
The Sonoma State Historic Park is open on Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm.
