The cityscape of downtown Los Angeles, California will not be complete without the iconic presence of the Staples Center. It is a multi-purpose, state-of-the art sports stadium and entertainment hub located next to the Los Angeles Convention Center. It has been one of the major attractions in the Los Angeles metro since its opening on October 17, 1999.

Staples Center is home to many local sports team. National Basketball Association (NBA) champion Los Angeles Lakers share this court with Los Angeles Clippers. The Los Angeles Sparks of WNBA and Los Angeles Kings of National Hockey League also call this arena their home. The arena has already hosted several all-star games.

Staples Center is a winner of Pollstar-CIC Arena of the Year awards for two consecutive years. Aside from sports events, the arena also hosts 250 events such as concerts, conferences, political conventions and awards shows. Nearly 4,000,000 people visit the arena a year, including Hollywood icon Jack Nicholson.
