The Torrey Pines State Beach is a state park and beach in San Diego, California. It is located next to the Torrey Pines State Reserve.

Formed by coastal erosion from the reserve, the Torrey Pines State Beach offers a picturesque landscape. It is also considered as a quintessential Southern California beach. For this and the great waves, it is also a favorite among surfers. It also offers the most scenic, inaccessible, and undeveloped beach in all of SoCal.

Visitors can access the Torrey Pines State Beach through two major points. One is at the north near the railroad, and the other is through the South Beach Parking Lot. The site is perfect for swimming, fishing, hiking, and picnicking. You can also catch a glimpse of the unique “Mushroom House”.
