The Trinidad State Beach is a state park and beach area in Trinidad, California. It is just one mile off the US 101, 20 miles north of the city of Eureka.
Albeit quite difficult to find, the Trinidad State Beach is definitely worth the drive. It offers stunning scenery and a relatively undeveloped location, like many in the region. The beach stretches out for miles that are ideal for kayaking, tidepooling, sightseeing, fishing, and picnicking. There are also trails that run through the woods and open bluffs that are ideal for hikers and equestrians. The beach is also most ideal for some nature exploring, as there are a good number of different and interesting rock outcroppings scattered around.
To get to the Trinidad State Beach, make sure to follow the signs. Again, it can be difficult to find, so lookout for directions available.
