The China Lake museum is devoted to weapons technology developments from the sailors, scientists, and engineers that have been living and working there since World War II. The museum has several different airplanes outside that can be viewed and a collection of the weapons that were developed and/or tested on station. Displays include missiles, bombs, and some weapons that didn't make it past the prototype stage.

Directions and gate pass information are contained on the museum website. At the time of this posting, there is no entrance fee for the museum.
