The Verdugo Mountains State Park is a state park in Sun Valley, California. It features the Verdugo Mountains, which is a small rugged mountain range, situated south of the San Gabriel Mountains. It is also referred to as the Verdugo Hills sometimes, or simply the ?Verdugos?.

The Verdugo Mountains State Park was established as a means to preserve a slice of nature in the midst of a sprawling metropolis. It offers vistas of the city of Glendale from its high points, including its highest peak at 3126 feet.

Popular among hikers and those looking for some physical activity, the Verdugo Mountains State Park may not offer much of things to do, but it certainly has a good amount of things to see. On your hike up, remember to put some sunblock and water, as the trails are not shaded.
