?The Parc Om?ga is like a trip through an enchanted forest? The Montreal Gazette

Parc Omega is a rustic and natural place for a family outing that is designed to ensure parents enjoy it as much as if not more than the kids.

It?s a drive-through park where you can see animals including deer, bison, bears, wild boars (and adorable boar-lets), wolves, foxes and caribou hanging out in their natural environment all year round.

The design of the park allows for outstanding opportunities for aspiring outdoor photographers.

Bringing carrots (or buying them at the park) is a must ? you feed the deer and caribou from your car windows. The tranquil 1,500-acre park is located at the edge of the Canadian Shield and has a varied and scenic landscape that includes deep forests, lakes, ponds, creeks, streams, meadows, rugged valleys and rocky outcrops and hills.

It is open year round when many other major family attractions in the area are closed and is about 45 minutes from Ottawa and 1.5 hours from downtown Montreal.
