The tranquil 1,500-acre park is located at the edge of the Canadian Shield and has a varied and scenic landscape that includes deep forests, lakes, ponds, creeks, streams, meadows, rugged valleys and rocky outcrops and hills.

It is open year round when many other major family attractions in the area are closed and is about 45 minutes from Ottawa and 1.5 hours from downtown Montreal.
