The Eldorado Canyon State Park is a state park and recreation area in Eldorado Springs, Colorado. It is located a couple of miles out of the city of Boulder.

Established in 1978, the Eldorado Canyon State Park is described as a “hidden treasure right in Boulder’s backyard”. It is one of SmarterTravel.com’s Ten State Parks You Can’t Miss. It is best known for rock climbing, offering over 500 technical routes. Visitors from all over the world troop to the 885 acre park to challenge their skills here. Aside from rock climbing, visitors can also enjoy hiking, picnicking, and fishing at the South Boulder Creek. On winter months, the park also offers cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

Visitors are warned that the Eldorado Canyon State Park can get crowded, especially on summer weekends.
