Locals fondly refer to the Elitch Gardens Theme Park as the state?s ?Coaster Capital? and for good reason. Its selection of rides will make any excitement junkie feel like he?s entered paradise, especially with the ten-story tall Mind Eraser. The suspension coaster certainly lives up to its name, running at over 60 mph. Even taller is the 22-story free fall ride that?s also aptly named the Tower of Doom. If that?s not enough then good, because there?s still a lot more to explore at the theme park! Up next is the Boomerang coaster, which loops forward and backward to get passengers dizzy with fun.

One incredible bonus of visiting the theme park is that it also has its own water park and is included in your admission ticket as well. At the water park, visiting families are sure to enjoy the Commotion Ocean wave pool and the 75-foot long Splashdown raft ride, with its swift twists and turns.
