The Fort Mountain State Park is a state park and recreation area in Chatsworth, Georgia. It is located near the Cohutta Wilderness.

Created some time in the 1930s, the Fort Mountain State Park was originally the property of former Atlanta Mayor, Ivan Allen. It was acquired by the state and work was done by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

The park features the Fort Mountain, which is best noted for being the home of an ancient 885 foot rock wall situated at the peak of the mountain. It is thought to be a fortification made by Native Americans, but it is not sure whether it is for defense against other hostile tribes or for ceremonies. In any case, the Fort Mountain State Park still manages to preserve the significant value of the site.
