The Hamburg State Park is a state park and recreation area in Mitchell, Georgia. It is also quite historic, with its 1921 working grist mill one of the main features and attractions at the site.

Covering 741 acres, the Hamburg State Park is an old country park. It boasts of modern day facilities that can provide comfort and unique experience. Among the top things to see and enjoy at the park are its camp sites that are ideal for tents, trailers, and RVs, nature trails, and picnic shelters. There’s also a 225 acre lake where visitors can go fishing and canoeing. There’s also the Pioneer Campground, Country Store, and the Grist Mill and Museum showcasing the local history of the area.
