The Pickett's Mill Battlefield Historic Site is a state park and historic site in Dallas, Georgia. It features and preserves the site of the Battle of Pickett?s Mill.

Pickett's Mill Battlefield Historic Site?s historic significance traces back to May 27, 1864, when the Union Major General William Tecumseh Sherman attempted to attack the Confederate General Joseph E. Johnston. The book of Ambrose Bierce titled ?The Crime at Pickett?s Mill? is about the said battle, after the author served for the Union troops as a topographical engineer.

Today, visitors of the Pickett's Mill Battlefield Historic Site can explore the site?s 765 acres through hiking and picnicking. There?s also a visitor center, where folks can learn more about the area?s history and past.
