To collect, preserve, exhibit and educate the general public about quilts, honoring quilt making traditions and embracing the evolution of the art and craft of quilting, is the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum?s mission.

The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum takes pride in presenting guided tours for a variety of adult groups. The museum has entertained visitors coming from the Red Hat Society, civic organizations, history study clubs, geneology groups and more. The museum also welcomes school groups; they have certain programs for students in educating them about the growth of American quilting through our country?s rich history.

Quilters are most welcome in the museum, in the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum they have the chance to learn more about quilting, share their skills, learn more skills and share their own skills to other quilters. During the summer the museum focuses on programs and exhibits for kids in teaching them about the craft during their early age.

The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum?s doors are always open for dedicated and hard working volunteers to help them in their mission. This will be an exciting mean in sharing your knowledge, enhance your learning and sharing the history in America.
