The Sweet Basil restaurant was established by Kevin Clair in 1977. During that time, it was just a little restaurant in the unknown town of Vail that can seat 47 people. Four decades later, the restaurant was able to expand and evolve into a 130-seater bistro on its original location on Creek Drive. Sweet Basil also developed its menu and has become well-known for its modern creative American cuisine which is a mix of American and various cuisines from all over the world.
