Sweet Basil, located in the small town of Vail, Colorado is a thirty year old dining place that has become a favorite go-to restaurant for locals and tourists alike. This is the reason why it was voted as the “Most Popular Restaurant” in Colorado based on the esteemed Zagat Survey.

The Sweet Basil restaurant was established by Kevin Clair in 1977. During that time, it was just a little restaurant in the unknown town of Vail that can seat 47 people. Four decades later, the restaurant was able to expand and evolve into a 130-seater bistro on its original location on Creek Drive. Sweet Basil also developed its menu and has become well-known for its modern creative American cuisine which is a mix of American and various cuisines from all over the world.
