The Connecticut College Arboretum is composed of 120 acres that makes up the Native Plant Collection along with the Caroline Black Garden. It opens a brand new world for the visitors to get in touch with our natural world along with teachings offered to promote research, conversation, public education and even mere recreation.

Anyone is even invited to become a member of the Arboretum since it offers easy and convenient online applications for you to avail of their membership opportunities. Various environmental lectures and symposiums are also held in this college arboretum. The site also presents a featured plant on a regular basis. It once served as a farm that was completely surrounded by numerous woodlands, wide enough to let anyone have a chance to explore the entire collection.
