If you love to explore the ocean without getting wet, then the Mystic Aquarium and Institution for Exploration is the perfect place for you. The best thing about this aquarium is that the visitors can be interactive with the sea creatures. You can go touch a ray, play with a penguin, and even see a huge whale. Visitors are allowed not only to see these animals but also t touch and interact. From whales to sea lions to penguins and many more, anyone will surely enjoy their visit at the Mystic Aquarium and Institution for Exploration.

Recently, they added a new attraction wherein you can dive in to the waters and feel everything that Dr.Ballard experienced on his expedition by using a new XD Motion Theater Deep Sea 3D. You can see different beautiful marine sanctuaries, shipwrecks, and colorful corals.


The admission schedule is 9 am to 5 pm but varies in some months like April to October, and December to February. The aquarium is open to public everyday but is closed during holidays and special occasions. The admission fee is $26.00 for adults, $23.00 for Senior, $19 for students, and Free for Children under 2 years old. Visitors can also pay an annual fee or membership of $60.00.
