Visit one of the major nautical museums in the United States. Mystic Seaport is a historical seaport village. It has different ships on display that even includes the last antique whaling shp which is the Bark Charles W. Morgan (1841). You can also see some historical ships like the Schooner L.A. Dunton, Joseph Conrad, and different steam vessels.

The ground buildings are not only houses and stores of a small village but also the houses of sailmakers and ship builders. There are also some museums that feature the history of ship models, shipping, and ship figureheads.

The seaport is open every day at 9 am to 5pm and is also open during holidays except Christmas and Christmas Eve. The admission fee is $24.00 for adults, $22.00 for seniors and military, $15.00 for students, and free for children under 5 years old.
