The Southford Falls State Park is a state park and protected area in Southbury, Connecticut. It is most popular for its scenic location, attracting many who want to spend some time amidst natural beauty.

Originally, the site of the Southford Falls State Park was home to a cardboard manufacturing company known as the Diamond Match Company. Their factory burned down in 1923, which could have been a reason why the property was ceded to the state a few years later in 1927.

The Southford Falls State Park is truly very charming. It is popular among local early morning walkers as it offers great views and fresh air. There?s also a scenic waterfall located at the site. Dogs are also allowed within the site.
