The Squantz Pond State Park is a state park and recreation area in New Fairfield, Connecticut. Its picturesque scenery attracts photographers aside from the regular recreationist crowd.

Established in 1926, the Squantz Pond State Park features the Squatz Pond, which is a part of the Candlewood Lake. The pond is natural originally, but it was altered in 1923 when the Candlewood Lake was impounded, leaving it necessary for the pond to be raised in levels. The park boasts of a ?mountain like? setting with a beach, making it a perfect spot for an outing. Visitors here could enjoy hiking, picnicking, swimming, fishing, boating, and even scuba diving. Folks can also go ice skating at the park.

Parking fees for visitors of the Squantz Pond State Park vary depending on the season.
