The Stratton Brook State Park is a state park and recreation area in Simsbury, Connecticut. It is completely wheelchair accessible and offers a wide array of recreational activities.

Located just a couple of miles out of Hartford, the Stratton Brook State Park is quite a well known small park in the state. It was established in 1949, originally as the Massacoe State Forest. It?s main objective was to demonstrate forest fire control to areas adjacent to railroads. The railroad tracks, however, were later replaced by a bike trail.

Among the top things that can be enjoyed at the Stratton Brook State Park include biking, hiking, fishing, swimming, and picnicking. Folks can also enjoy cross country skiing and ice skating at the park during the winter months.
