The Talcott Mountain State Park is a state park and recreation area in Bloomfield, Connecticut. It is famous for its fall foliage offering stunning views.

Featuring the Talcott Mountain, the Talcott Mountain State Park started out as a summer retreat of Gilbert F. Heublein. Heublein was a prominent hotelier in Hartford and had the Heublein Tower, the popular landmark of the park, built in 1914. It was designed after the native motifs of Heublein?s homeland, Bavaria. The tower now offers excellent views of Connecticut and even beyond the state.

The Talcott Mountain State Park is listed as one of the top eight places in Connecticut that is listed on the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection?s Bureau of Parks and Forest?s top places to see fall foliage.
