Jeff Wells, the owner of the Wells Dinosaur Haven, has been building dinosaur statues since 1981. His inspiration began by taking pictures of dinosaur displays for an art magazine. One of his very first creations is the ?Family Fun? which according to him is a portrayal of their family clan. The edaphosaurus and a dimetrodon rolling the ground signifies his two sons fighting. But Jeff's masterpiece and the biggest of all the displays in the place is the life size of Tyrannosaurus rex which has a door on its tail, signifying the intricate details and a construction of a like a submarine hull.

The dinosaur haven charges to admission since Jeff says that the place is really intended for kids. Well's Dinosaur Haven is easy to spot by passing through the casino on Route 32.
