Situated in Kenton, Delaware is the small, former plantation known as Aspendale. It was built in the 1700s, and is still intact until today. The great thing about this historical site is that it is preserved the way it originally is, so the original main house, with its Georgian architectural style, can still be found.

The Aspendale site consists of the 2 story main house made of brick, and a couple of other outbuildings. As of the last time that it was checked by the authorities and record-keepers, it was still pretty much owned by the same family that built it in the 18th century. This makes the site even rarer and more notable.

As the Aspendale is privately owned, visitors may need to ask permission to the owners first before going to the site.
