The Barratt?s Chapel and Museum is a museum and historic site in Frederica, Delaware. It is a museum about the history of Methodism.

Named after Philip Barratt, the owner of the land where the chapel was built in 1780 and also a locally prominent political figure, the Barratt?s Chapel and Museum is the oldest surviving church building that is built by and for Methodists. It is also known as the ?Cradle of Methodism? because of what took place here in 1784, which was basically the very thing that set off the formation of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

Today, the Barratt?s Chapel and Museum preserves this important part of history of the Methodist Church. The site is preserved much like the way it has been like centuries ago.
