The Delaware Agricultural Museum is best described as an Agriculture for Dummies guidebook come into life, with both children and adults entertained and educated at the same time about the wonders of agriculture that have been long taken for granted. At the museum?s charming 1890s historic Lockerman Landing Village, visitors are able to explore the farming lifestyle in the tiny state as well as learn more about the different technological practices that had been applied to improve their produce. At the Lockerman Village, visitors are able to take a step back in time as they enter the school house for lessons, the farmhouse for daily chores, and the store for their everyday needs.

Back at the museum, visitors should first tour the Main Hall, where exhibits of industries and products that had been pioneered by Delawareans are on display.
