Every summer, the Delaware State Fair takes place at Harrington, Delaware. This big celebration is annually held for ten days at the end of July and offers a series of events that visitors will surely enjoy.
First held in the year 1920, the Delaware State Fair used to be called the Kent-Sussex Fair. It was used to be held on a 30-acre fairground, which later on expanded to the 300 acres that it has today.
The Delaware State Fair started off as a typical state fair. It offered local events to visitors from other places, and highlights included races, rodeo, agricultural exhibits, and demonstrations. Today, all of these still take place, but the concerts are now more star-studded and sought after. The acts usually include famous pop stars, attracting more visitors from all over the area.
