The festival is held on The Green Mall and the Legislative Mall and attracts 25,000 people each year. Held on the month of May, the Dover Days Festival is one of the longest running festivals in the country, considering that it first started in 1933. At first, the festival only featured a flower and garden show, but later became an annual tribute to the heritage of the people of Dover.
