Now you can be in two coastlines at one time at Fenwick Island State Park in Sussex County, Delaware.
Established in 1966, the Fenwick Island State Park is a 344-acre park located between Bethany Beach, Delaware and Ocean City, Maryland. The park is notable for its unique position; it is a narrow strip of land sandwiched by the Little Assawoman Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
The beach is open year-round for activities such as swimming, surf fishing, surfing, and wakeboarding. On land, a modern bathhouse equipped with showers and changing rooms complements the beach area where visitors can set up picnics or simply bask under the sun. A gift shop and concession kiosk completes this beach experience. The bay side of the park offers ?rougher? activities such as crabbing, sailing, clamming, windsurfing, kayaking, and fishing.
