The Hagley Museum and Library is considered an outdoor museum and is also the location of the original du Pont gunpowder mills. This also serves as home to various gardens and estate. The first ever family home of the du Pont was built by E.I. du Pont way back in 1803. It has a garden that is restored with its French landscape style which is adjoined to the home.

Their exhibits are not only limited to what you see when you actually visit the museum, but they also feature amazing online exhibits. The museum has accreditation given by the American Association of Museums since 1972. The library is predominantly composed of resources and studies that are greatly related to technology and business in the American setting.
