In Holts Landing State Park, you can catch your own crabs and eat it, too! This blue crab catching is one of the many features offered by this scenic park in the state of Delaware.

Holts Landing State Park is a 203-acre park in Sussex County, Delaware. It overlooks the Bethany Beach on the southern shore of the Indian River Bay. It was once a property of the Holt family, who later sold the land to the state in 1957. The park was opened in 1965.

The park is open year-round for people who want a different kind of state park experience. Because of its marine location, the main attractions focused on water activities such as boating, kayaking and fishing. Visitors can access the blue crab catching area where they can lower their baskets and wait for these fiddlers to get caught. The park provides cabin with amenities and even charcoal grills for outdoor feasts.
