The high-rise concrete oval at Dover International Speedway is popularly known as "The Monster Mile. Miles the Monster appears to be modeled from the similar angle of "The Thing and The Hulk". His beaming red eyes could be seen as far as Highway 1 which is 880 yards away. Miles was made based on a "concrete theme". Miles was a share of a $6 million task identified as the "Monster Makeover." This project establishes Miles not just the world's biggest monster (with specifications of 46 feet tall and 20 tons) but as well positions it as one of the world's costliest. When Miles was uncovered in 2008, the ceremonial occasion was attended not solely by the mayor of its Dover, but also by the state governor. Miles' round base is bordered with granite brasses that give testimonial to the winners of Dover NASCAR race since 1969. The foot is indeed magnanimous that it has place for winners until 2035. The Dover colossus is watched over by 24-hour security system and covered behind a wall on the days when there are no visitors.
