The Nanticoke Indian Powwow is a yearly gathering of all the native people to give way for the celebration of their culture and their heritage. It is a secular event where the powwow history is passed on from one generation to another. It is a historical tradition since the year of 1978 and it is where you can get to witness various activities like singing, dancing, playing drums, and see lots of arts and crafts vendors.

The arts and crafts featured include pottery, jewelry, ribbon shirts, moccasins, paintings, dream catchers, shawls and a lot more. It also has a lot of native foods, some visiting tribes, and a worship service on a Sunday morning set outdoors. It is one educational event of history and culture.
