The Paul R. Jones Collection of African American Art is an art gallery in Newark, Delaware. It features a good amount of artworks created by African American artists.

Originally owned by Atlanta, Georgia art collector and Paul R. Jones, the Paul R. Jones Collection of African American Art started out when Jones donated his pieces to the University of Delaware in 2001. The collection was once known as the country?s largest and most comprehensive private collection of art works made by African American artists. The University Gallery initially exhibited this collection in 1993, but after years of negotiations on the preservation of the works and its pedagogical function, it was later gifted to the University.

The Paul R. Jones Collection of African American Art is now housed in the newly renovated Mechanical Hall.
