The Pencader Museum is administrated by Pencader Museum and Research Center. The center aims to preserve and maintain the Pencader area. The center created a very educational environment for students, teachers and residents. The museum encourages learning about the history and culture of the Pencader Hundred and appreciation for the arts.

The different rooms in the museum that holds several collections include: The Cooch Room which displays pictures and other memorabilia of the Cooch family. Their family?s house was used as a headquarters by Gen. Cornwalis during the American Revolutionary War. The Dayett Room holds antiquities regarding the Dayett Mill. Lastly, the Pencader Room holds Native American and Revolutionary War artifacts. There are also parts from a M-48 tank from Chrysler Corporation in Newark. Students and people who love to learn about the American Revolutionary War will surely enjoy the displays. The research center which is also housed inside the museum holds many unique documents one cannot find anywhere else. The library contains almost everything on various topics. There are hundred of books, periodicals, maps, photographs, archaeology studies, and many other subjects.
