The Velocipede Museum is a transportation museum in New Castle, Delaware. It features displays about velocipedes, bicycles, tricycles, and many others.

Although the history of such vehicles isn?t very clear as to when it was first invented (some say that it goes back to the early 1400s as evidenced by a sketch drawn by one of Leonardo da Vinci?s pupils), it is no secret that these things have been around for quite some time already. The earliest documented, however, was in 1818. This is probably why the oldest item on display at the Velocipede Museum dates back to 1866.

The Velocipede Museum is open on Saturdays from 11 am to 5 pm. Admission is free and scheduled tours are available.
