The Meridian International Center has advanced the public and cultural diplomacy efforts of the country and it continues to do so. It offers exchange programs participated in by thousands of international leaders. These programs aim to make them understand more about the United States and its people. The Center also creates custom programs used by other government agencies in the nation, aside from the public and private sector organizations.

The Art for Cultural Diplomacy program enables the national and international audiences from Washington to be exposed to the background of other cultures from the points of view of visual and performing artists. So far, the Center has produced exhibitions that have served its purpose in 50 countries and 320 cities in 44 US states.

Meridian uses a unique and organized platform that provides tools and strategies to influence and promote global peer networks, cross-sector exchanges, and knowledge sharing. These programs establish communication and help leaders develop their talents, share experiences, and realize sustained positive impact.

The Center also fulfills its objective by offering keynote speeches from the top leaders all over the world, roundtable discussions focusing on global challenges.
