The National Museum of Women in the Arts is home to over 3,000 pieces of artwork made by more than 400 female artists. This entire collection goes beyond the periods of the 16th century and up to this present day. It is also made up of a wide variety of media from all over the entire world. Some of the well noted female American artists whose works are featured would be Eulabee Dix, Frida Kahlo, and Mary Cassatt.

It is also a regular venue for various concerts especially the classical ones. They also take part in outreach programs of their own that encourage supporters who can donate and sponsor for the worthy cause of preserving culture and the arts through the said museum.
