The Navy Art Gallery features more than 15,000 paintings, drawings, prints, and sculpture. The Museum also houses depictions of naval ships, personnel, and action from every era in the United States. In the Museum, the World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Desert Shield/Storm are well represented.

The Museum is dedicated to offering its visitors artifacts, documents, and art embodying the area?s naval history and heritage to the present and future generations. History and heritage come alive as the museum reminds American that it is vital to stay maintain a strong Navy and Marine Corps to ensure protection for the citizens, their freedom, and the country?s maritime commerce.

The Museum Branch is in charge of managing the art collection, producing exhibits, and loaning the artworks to other museums and institutions.
